Visitors can choose between two different experiences:
Day Tour A: Canopy Walkway & Bukit Teresek
Day Tour B: Tras Waterfall Adventure
The following itineraries and rates are effective from 1 July 2026 until the end of April 2027.
Day Tour A: Canopy Walkway & Bukit Teresek
Day Tour A is suitable for travellers who want to experience some of Taman Negara’s most popular attractions in one day.
The tour combines:
Canopy Walkway
Bukit Teresek jungle trekking
Orang Asli village visit
Traditional demonstrations
Rapid shooting
Lunch at a floating restaurant
Day Tour A Itinerary
9:00 AM – Arrival and Meet Your Guide
Arrive at Kuala Tahan and meet your local guide.
Your rainforest adventure begins with an approximately 500-metre trek to the Canopy Walkway entrance.
Guests will then explore the approximately 980-metre-long Canopy Walkway, offering a memorable experience above the rainforest floor.
After completing the Canopy Walkway, continue jungle trekking to the Bukit Teresek viewpoint. The trekking distance is approximately 2.2 km.
The private tour itinerary then continues with a boat ride to an Orang Asli village, where guests can watch traditional fire-making and blowpipe demonstrations.
The river adventure finishes with exciting rapid shooting through the major rapids.
Be prepared to get wet.
1:30 PM – Lunch
Return and enjoy lunch at the floating restaurant.
2:30 PM – Private Tour Ends
The private Day Tour A normally ends at approximately 2:30 PM.
SIC or Joined Tour Arrangement
For the SIC or joined tour, guests normally return for lunch after completing the jungle trek.
After lunch, the tour continues with:
Boat trip
Orang Asli village visit
Fire-making demonstration
Blowpipe demonstration
Rapid shooting
The joined tour usually finishes at approximately 4:30 PM to 5:00 PM.
Important Canopy Walkway Notice
Daily admission to the Canopy Walkway is limited to 350 visitors.
The Canopy Walkway is closed every Friday for maintenance.
Canopy Walkway entry is subject to ticket availability on the actual day of the tour. The attraction may be replaced with Bukit Teresek trekking when:
Daily tickets are sold out
It is raining or drizzling
The Park Ranger closes the attraction
Conditions are considered unsafe
Canopy Walkway admission cannot be fully guaranteed because its operation depends on daily capacity, weather and safety conditions.
Optional Add-On: Lata Berkoh Cascade Waterfall
Guests may add a private boat trip to Lata Berkoh Cascade Waterfall.
Rate: RM400 per boat
The optional boat trip includes:
Maximum four guests per boat
Boatman
Assistant boatman
A tour guide is not included for this optional activity.

An 8.2 km jungle trek

Orang Asli village visit
Fire-making and blowpipe demonstrations
Rapid shooting
Day Tour B is best suited to active travellers with reasonable fitness who are comfortable with longer jungle trekking and water activities.
Day Tour B Itinerary
9:00 AM – Arrival
Arrive at the meeting point and meet your guide.
Guests will collect their packed lunch and drinking water before starting the tour.
Please bring a backpack to carry your food, water and personal belongings.
9:30 AM – Jungle Trek Begins
Begin the approximately 8.2 km jungle trek to Tras Waterfall.
Upon reaching the waterfall, enjoy a refreshing shower or swim surrounded by the rainforest.
The tour then continues with:
Boat visit to an Orang Asli village
Traditional fire-making demonstration
Blowpipe demonstration
Rapid shooting through the major river rapids
Be prepared to get wet.
4:00 PM – Tour Ends
The Tras Waterfall Adventure normally ends at approximately 4:00 PM.
