Is the Taman Negara Day Trip family-friendly?

This package is great for families, couples, IPTA/IPTS student groups, private companies and government agencies. All activities are family-friendly and not extreme—just the right mix of fun, nature and culture.

What’s included in the Day Trip (explained)

1) Jungle Trekking – Bukit Teresek

Distance: ~3.4 km return | Time: ~2–3 hours | Level: Easy–Moderate.
Walk on a mix of boardwalk and forest trail to 1–2 viewpoints. On clear days you may spot Gunung Tahan in the distance. Great for family photos and quick nature learning for students.

2) Canopy Walk (if open)

Iconic hanging walkway above the treetops—unique view of the 130-million-year rainforest.
Managed in small groups for safety; single-file sections; staff will guide. Kids usually enjoy it (parental guidance needed).
Canopy Walk Taman Negara will closed every friday so plan ur trip accordingly .

3) Lunch at the Floating Restaurant

Scenic river-side lunch stop between activities.
Set/group meals help us keep to time so you can enjoy more activities in one day.

4) Orang Asli (Batek) Village Visit

Cultural stop to learn traditional blowpipe and fire-making.
Respectful, small-group interaction; great CSR add-on (basic items like rice, flour, instant noodles, soap, toothpaste).

5) Rapid Shooting – Sungai Tembeling

Fun longboat ride through splashy river rapids—you will get wet (in a good way!)
Bring a dry bag, phone lanyard and waterproof pouch so nothing falls into the river.
