Two day-tour options are available:
- Day Tour A: Canopy Walkway & Bukit Teresek
- Day Tour B: Tras Waterfall Adventure
Rates are effective from 1 July 2026 until the end of April 2027.
Day Tour A: Canopy Walk, Village Visit and Rapids
Day Tour A brings together some of the most popular experiences in Taman Negara.
The programme includes:
- Canopy Walkway
- Bukit Teresek jungle trekking
- Orang Asli village visit
- Traditional fire-making
- Blowpipe demonstration
- Rapid shooting
- Lunch at a floating restaurant
Day Tour A Itinerary
9:00 AM – Tour Begins
Arrive at Kuala Tahan and meet your local guide.
Begin with an approximately 500-metre trek to the Canopy Walkway entrance.
Guests will explore the approximately 980-metre-long Canopy Walkway before continuing towards the Bukit Teresek viewpoint.
The Bukit Teresek jungle trek covers approximately 2.2 km.
The private tour then continues by boat to an Orang Asli village.
During the village visit, guests can watch:
- Traditional fire-making
- Blowpipe demonstration
After the village experience, enjoy rapid shooting through the major river rapids.
Be prepared to get wet.
1:30 PM – Floating Restaurant Lunch
Return and enjoy lunch at the floating restaurant.
2:30 PM – Private Tour Ends
The private programme normally ends at approximately 2:30 PM.
Joined Tour Arrangement
For the joined tour, guests usually complete the jungle activities before returning for lunch.
After lunch, the programme continues with:
- Boat ride
- Orang Asli village
- Traditional demonstrations
- Rapid shooting
The SIC or joined tour normally finishes between 4:30 PM and 5:00 PM.
Canopy Walkway Notice
The Canopy Walkway has a daily limit of 350 visitors.
It is closed every Friday for maintenance.
Entry is subject to ticket availability on the actual day. The Canopy Walkway may be replaced with Bukit Teresek trekking when:
- Tickets are sold out
- Rain or drizzle occurs
- The Park Ranger closes the attraction
- Safety conditions are unsuitable
The Canopy Walkway cannot be guaranteed because operations depend on weather, ticket availability and safety approval.

Day Tour B: Tras Waterfall Adventure
For travellers looking for a longer trek, Day Tour B offers a more active jungle experience.
The adventure includes:
- An 8.2 km jungle trek
- Swimming or showering at Tras Waterfall
- Orang Asli village visit
- Fire-making and blowpipe demonstrations
- Rapid shooting
Tour Schedule
9:00 AM: Arrive, meet your guide and collect your packed lunch and water.
9:30 AM: Begin the 8.2 km jungle trek to Tras Waterfall.
Enjoy a refreshing swim or shower at the waterfall before continuing with the village visit and rapid shooting.
4:00 PM: Tour ends.
