Both tours allow visitors to experience the natural beauty, local culture and river adventures of Taman Negara—all within one unforgettable day.

The following itineraries and rates are effective from 1 July 2026 until the end of April 2027.


Day Tour A: Canopy Walkway & Bukit Teresek

Day Tour A is ideal for travellers who want to experience Taman Negara’s most popular attractions.

The tour combines:

  • Canopy Walkway

  • Bukit Teresek jungle trekking

  • Orang Asli village visit

  • Fire-making and blowpipe demonstrations

  • Rapid shooting

  • Lunch at a floating restaurant

Day Tour A Itinerary

9:00 AM – Arrival and Tour Begins

Arrive at Kuala Tahan and meet your local guide.

Begin with an approximately 500-metre trek to the Canopy Walkway entrance.

Guests will then explore the approximately 980-metre-long Canopy Walkway, offering a unique rainforest experience above the forest floor.

After completing the Canopy Walkway, continue jungle trekking to the Bukit Teresek viewpoint. The trekking distance is approximately 2.2 km.

The tour then continues by boat to an Orang Asli village, where guests can watch traditional fire-making and blowpipe demonstrations.

Finish the river adventure with exciting rapid shooting through the major rapids.

Be prepared to get wet.

1:30 PM – Lunch

Return and enjoy lunch at the floating restaurant.

2:30 PM – Private Tour Ends

The private Day Tour A normally ends at approximately 2:30 PM.


SIC or Joined Tour Arrangement

For the SIC or joined tour, guests normally return for lunch after completing the jungle trek.

After lunch, the tour continues with:

  • Boat trip

  • Orang Asli village visit

  • Fire-making demonstration

  • Blowpipe demonstration

  • Rapid shooting

The joined tour normally ends at approximately 4:30 PM to 5:00 PM.


Important Canopy Walkway Notice

Daily entry to the Canopy Walkway is limited to only 350 visitors.

The Canopy Walkway is closed every Friday for maintenance.

Entry is subject to ticket availability on the actual day of the tour. The Canopy Walkway may be replaced with Bukit Teresek trekking when:

  • Tickets are sold out

  • It is raining or drizzling

  • The Park Ranger closes the attraction

  • Conditions are considered unsafe

The operation of the Canopy Walkway depends on ticket availability, weather and safety conditions.


Optional Add-On: Lata Berkoh Cascade Waterfall

Guests may add a private boat trip to Lata Berkoh Cascade Waterfall.

Rate: RM400 per boat

  • Maximum four persons per boat

  • Boatman included

  • Assistant boatman included

  • Tour guide is not included

Day Tour B: Tras Waterfall Adventure

Looking for a more active rainforest experience?

Day Tour B features an 8.2 km jungle trek to Tras Waterfall, followed by waterfall swimming, an Orang Asli village visit and rapid shooting.

This tour is recommended for active travellers with reasonable fitness.

Day Tour B Itinerary

9:00 AM – Arrival

Arrive at the meeting point and meet your guide.

Guests will collect their packed lunch and drinking water before beginning the tour.

Please bring a backpack to carry your food, water and personal belongings.

9:30 AM – Jungle Trek Begins

Begin the approximately 8.2 km jungle trek to Tras Waterfall.

Upon reaching the waterfall, enjoy a refreshing shower or swim surrounded by the rainforest.

The tour then continues with:

  • Boat trip to an Orang Asli village

  • Traditional fire-making demonstration

  • Blowpipe demonstration

  • Rapid shooting through the major river rapids

Be prepared to get wet.

4:00 PM – Tour Ends

The Tras Waterfall Adventure normally ends at approximately 4:00 PM.


What to Bring for Day Tour B

Guests should prepare:

  • Backpack

  • Comfortable trekking shoes

  • Insect repellent

  • Towel

  • Spare clothes

  • Waterproof protection for phones, cameras and valuables


Who Is the Tras Waterfall Tour Suitable For?

Day Tour B is suitable for:

  • Active travellers

  • Guests with reasonable fitness

  • Travellers comfortable with longer jungle trekking

  • Guests who enjoy waterfalls and river activities

The tour may not be suitable for guests who are uncomfortable with long-distance trekking or physically demanding outdoor activities.
