Travellers looking for a more challenging trek may also choose the Tras Waterfall Adventure.
The listed itineraries and rates are effective from 1 July 2026 until the end of April 2027.
Canopy Walkway & Bukit Teresek Day Tour
This tour combines several of Taman Negara’s most popular experiences:
- Canopy Walkway
- Bukit Teresek jungle trek
- Orang Asli village visit
- Traditional fire-making
- Blowpipe demonstration
- Rapid shooting
- Floating restaurant lunch
Tour Itinerary
9:00 AM – Arrival
Arrive at Kuala Tahan and meet your guide.
Start with an approximately 500-metre trek to the Canopy Walkway entrance.
Guests will explore the approximately 980-metre-long Canopy Walkway before continuing through the jungle towards the Bukit Teresek viewpoint.
The Bukit Teresek trekking distance is approximately 2.2 km.
The private tour continues with a boat ride to an Orang Asli village, where guests can learn about traditional fire-making and blowpipe techniques.
The experience finishes with rapid shooting through the major river rapids.
Guests should expect to get wet.
1:30 PM – Lunch
Return and enjoy lunch at a floating restaurant.
2:30 PM – Private Tour Ends
The private tour normally ends at approximately 2:30 PM.
SIC or Joined Tour Schedule
Guests joining the SIC tour usually complete the jungle trek first and then return for lunch.
The afternoon programme continues with:
- Boat ride
- Orang Asli village
- Fire-making demonstration
- Blowpipe demonstration
- Rapid shooting
The SIC tour usually ends at approximately 4:30 PM to 5:00 PM.
Canopy Walkway Entry Conditions
The Canopy Walkway has a daily visitor limit of 350 people.
It is closed every Friday for maintenance.
The Canopy Walkway may be unavailable when:
- Daily tickets are sold out
- Rain or drizzle affects safety
- The Park Ranger closes the attraction
- Operational conditions are unsuitable
When the Canopy Walkway is unavailable, the activity may be replaced with Bukit Teresek trekking.

Tras Waterfall Itinerary
9:00 AM
Arrive, meet your guide and collect your packed lunch and drinking water.
Bring a backpack for your food, water and personal items.
9:30 AM
Begin the 8.2 km jungle trek to Tras Waterfall.
Enjoy a refreshing swim or shower at the waterfall.
Continue with the Orang Asli village visit and rapid shooting.
4:00 PM
The tour ends.
