Day Tour B offers a longer jungle trek and waterfall experience for active travellers.
Tour rates and itineraries are effective from 1 July 2026 until the end of April 2027.
Explore the Canopy Walkway and Bukit Teresek
The Canopy Walkway & Bukit Teresek Day Tour combines several activities in one complete programme.
Guests will experience:
- Canopy Walkway
- Jungle trekking
- Bukit Teresek viewpoint
- Orang Asli village
- Fire-making demonstration
- Blowpipe demonstration
- Rapid shooting
- Floating restaurant lunch
It is a convenient option for travellers who want to discover Taman Negara without staying overnight.
Day Tour A Itinerary
9:00 AM – Arrival in Kuala Tahan
Arrive at Jetty Kuala Tahan and meet your local guide.
Begin with an approximately 500-metre jungle trek to the Canopy Walkway entrance.
Walk along the approximately 980-metre-long Canopy Walkway and experience the rainforest from above.
After the Canopy Walkway, continue trekking towards the Bukit Teresek viewpoint. The jungle trekking distance is approximately 2.2 km.
The tour then continues by boat to an Orang Asli village.
During the village visit, guests can watch:
- Traditional fire-making
- Blowpipe demonstration
The tour also includes rapid shooting through the main river rapids.
Guests should expect to get wet.
1:30 PM – Lunch
Return and enjoy lunch at a floating restaurant.
2:30 PM – Private Tour Ends
The private Day Tour A normally finishes at approximately 2:30 PM.
SIC or Joined Tour Programme
Guests joining the SIC tour normally complete the Canopy Walkway and jungle trek before returning for lunch.
The afternoon programme continues with:
- Boat ride
- Orang Asli village visit
- Fire-making and blowpipe demonstrations
- Rapid shooting
The joined tour usually ends at approximately 4:30 PM to 5:00 PM.
Canopy Walkway Entry Information
The Canopy Walkway has a daily limit of only 350 visitors.
It is closed every Friday for maintenance.
Canopy Walkway entry is subject to ticket availability on the actual day. The activity may be replaced with Bukit Teresek trekking when:
- Daily tickets are sold out
- Rain or drizzle affects safety
- The Park Ranger closes the attraction
- Operational conditions are unsuitable
Guests are advised to remain flexible because Canopy Walkway operations depend on capacity, weather and safety conditions.

For travellers who enjoy longer treks and waterfall activities, the Tras Waterfall Adventure is another option.
This tour includes:
- An 8.2 km jungle trek
- Tras Waterfall swim or shower
- Orang Asli village visit

- Blowpipe demonstration
- Rapid shooting
The tour is suitable for active travellers with reasonable fitness.
Tras Waterfall Day Tour Itinerary
9:00 AM – Arrival
Meet your guide and collect your packed lunch and drinking water.
Bring a backpack to carry your food, water and personal belongings.
9:30 AM – Start the Jungle Trek
Begin the approximately 8.2 km trek to Tras Waterfall.
Upon reaching the waterfall, enjoy a refreshing swim or shower.
The adventure then continues with a boat ride to an Orang Asli village, traditional demonstrations and rapid shooting through the river rapids.
4:00 PM – Tour Ends
The Tras Waterfall tour normally ends at approximately 4:00 PM.

Guests joining the Tras Waterfall Adventure should bring:
