Taman Negara offers two different day-tour options:
- Day Tour A: Canopy Walkway & Bukit Teresek
- Day Tour B: Tras Waterfall Adventure
Day Tour A is suitable for travellers who want to visit the famous Canopy Walkway and Bukit Teresek.
Day Tour B is designed for active travellers who prefer a longer jungle trek and waterfall swimming.
The itineraries and prices below are effective from 1 July 2026 until the end of April 2027.
Day Tour A: Discover Taman Negara’s Main Attractions
Day Tour A brings together several memorable experiences in one complete programme.
Guests will experience:
- Canopy Walkway
- Bukit Teresek
- Jungle trekking
- Orang Asli village visit
- Traditional demonstrations
- Rapid shooting
- Lunch at a floating restaurant
Day Tour A Itinerary
9:00 AM – Start Your Rainforest Adventure
Arrive in Kuala Tahan and meet your local guide.
Begin with an approximately 500-metre jungle trek to the Canopy Walkway entrance.
Walk along the approximately 980-metre-long Canopy Walkway before continuing towards Bukit Teresek.
The trek to the Bukit Teresek viewpoint covers approximately 2.2 km.
The private tour continues by boat to an Orang Asli village.
Guests can watch:
- Traditional fire-making
- Blowpipe demonstration
The tour also includes rapid shooting through the major river rapids.
Be prepared to get wet.
1:30 PM – Floating Restaurant Lunch
Return and enjoy lunch at a floating restaurant.
2:30 PM – Private Tour Finishes
The private tour normally finishes at approximately 2:30 PM.
Joined Tour Programme
For joined tours, guests normally return for lunch after trekking.
The afternoon tour then continues with:
- Boat trip
- Orang Asli village
- Fire-making and blowpipe demonstrations
- Rapid shooting
The joined tour normally ends at approximately 4:30 PM to 5:00 PM.

Canopy Walkway Notice
Daily entry is limited to 350 visitors.
The Canopy Walkway is closed every Friday for maintenance.
The attraction may be replaced with Bukit Teresek trekking when:
- Tickets are sold out
- Rain or drizzle occurs
- The Park Ranger closes the attraction
- Safety conditions are unsuitable
Entry is subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed in advance.
Optional Lata Berkoh Boat Adventure
Add a boat trip to Lata Berkoh Cascade Waterfall.
RM400 per boat
- Maximum four guests
- Boatman included
- Assistant boatman included
- Tour guide not included
Day Tour B: Tras Waterfall Adventure
Day Tour B offers a more active rainforest journey.
The adventure includes:
- An 8.2 km jungle trek
- Swimming or showering at Tras Waterfall
- Orang Asli village visit
- Fire-making demonstration
- Blowpipe demonstration
- Rapid shooting
Day Tour B Itinerary
9:00 AM – Arrival
Meet your guide and collect your packed lunch and water.
Bring a backpack to carry your supplies and personal belongings.
9:30 AM – Trek to Tras Waterfall
Begin the 8.2 km jungle trek.
Upon reaching Tras Waterfall, guests can enjoy a refreshing swim or shower.
After the waterfall activity, continue with a boat trip to an Orang Asli village and rapid shooting through the river rapids.
4:00 PM – Tour Ends
The tour normally finishes at approximately 4:00 PM.
What Guests Should Bring
Prepare the following items:
- Backpack
- Comfortable trekking shoes
- Insect repellent
- Towel
- Spare clothes
- Waterproof protection for phones and valuables
This tour is suitable for active travellers with reasonable fitness who are comfortable with longer trekking and water activities.
